MY TOP THREE SIPPY CUPS!

Dear friends,

We have always encouraged our little one to use regular glassware like we do. Its part of the Montessori idea to give little ones the means of doing it on their own...with real plates, silverware etc. so that they learn to be careful from the start. It has worked very well in our home, but we definitely use sippies for the quick or on-the-go times.

First I tried one from Boon, called the Boon Modster Soft Spout Sippy. Its now a discontinued item and with good reason...I returned mine almost immediately because she was teething at the time and it took less than two days for her to literally knaw into the cup with pieces coming off!!! Ahhh!!! This was a huge disappointment and very surprising because we have the Boon Potty and it's amazing and we love it!!

Here are my top three:

1. The Pura Kiki.

This is my favorite and what I've found to be the best!!! Plastic-free, stainless steel, no BPA, EA or PVC.  *NOTE: I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THE PLAIN SILVER ONE INSTEAD OF THE COLORED ONES SINCE THE OUTER SHELL CAN CHIP ON THE COLORS* We have the plain stainless steel one and I can't say enough good things about it. Durable, safe, does NOT leak, holds plenty for baby and tot and even child AND the tops can be interchanged from nipples to sippies to straws!

2. The Cello & Bee Eco Sippy Top.

These are the easiest and quickest AND they fit right on top of empty baby food jars! It's also BPA free! It was a fantastic way of introducing glassware and drinks to our little one while still having a leak-free top. And they really are fantastic about not leaking for such a basic top! Purchase yours HERE!

3. The Green Sprout Sippy.

This is a nice interchangeable one that is leak-free and actually has a lovely BPA-free outer shell that protects the real container which is a glass jar. It comes with removable handles for little hands and a lid. My only thing about this one while it does come with a interchangeable straw option, it does not work well (or at least ours didn't). It was very difficult to suck anything through it. Other than that it is awesome if you want to have the glass container, but know that it can be dropped and protected on the outside!
