"IT'S THE GREAT PUMPKIN, CHARLIE BROWN SMOOTHIE"

Dear friends,

Please read the post on why I choose the smoothie ingredients that I do HERE first. It will give you an inside look at just what these amazing ingredients do for your body and your little one's body!

Remember that if your child doesn't like this smoothie...don't give up. There is always a delicious way to get nutrition into your child's body and there will be one that they like soon, if not this one!

"IT'S THE GREAT PUMPKIN, CHARLIE BROWN SMOOTHIE" (or call it whatever you think will appeal most to your child...ex: orange shake, sun smoothie, etc). It's a wonderful way of getting good fats, vitamins, beta carotene, antioxidants and more into your child.

This makes around 5 oz of smoothie. You can double it for two children of course, but there is no need to over-smoothie them. They don't need a huge smoothie like you might.

1/2 c - Unsweetened Almond Milk or other milk
1 tbs - Native Forest Canned Coconut Full Fat Milk (found at the Health Nut and at Fresh Market)
1 tbs - Farmer's Market Organic Canned Pumpkin (found at the Health Nut)
1 1/2 tsp - raw honey (you can use a bit more if you feel you have to, but don't over sweeten it)
1/8 tsp - cinnamon
1/8 tsp - vanilla extract (optional)

Blend well altogether in a blender and serve or chill first if you want. This particular smoothie is not super thick, so don't expect it to be. I never use ice in my smoothies because very cold items cause more mucus in children and chilling it for a bit in the fridge should be sufficient.

Enjoy!!

xoxo,

Sara
